Sunday 24th March
A DAY AT THE RACES!
Join us for one of our most exciting bi-annual events, when 100 teams of Huskies and Siberian Malamutes compete in wheeled sled races along the nature trails and around the lakes. Hug a husky on this unusual family day out. Starts 10am with prize-giving approx. 3pm.

Easter Sunday & Easter Monday (31st March and 1st April)
EASTER BONANZA
Happy hunting for everyone! Take part in our Easter egg hunt and quiz trail with edible prizes! Try your hand at egg rolling with Eggbert our Easter Bunny. Don’t miss Gus Dermody and his sheepdogs, herding sheep, ducks and geese. Traditional family fun with puppet shows, terrier and ferret racing, pony rides and music. Spring lambs, chicks and daffodils will make this a special weekend.
and that’s not all….
Chocoholics will be spoilt for choice in our coffee shop from Easter Sunday, with a complete range of chocolate goodies to indulge in!

Sunday 7th April
KITE FESTIVAL
Come and watch a demonstration of giant inflatable kites and stunt kites. Children can build their own kite in our workshop, or buy from a good selection. Bring your own kites to fly, too. Attention all teddy bear owners! Bring your bear along for an exciting parachute experience.

Monday 6th May
ANIMAL FUN DAY
This ever-popular day is great fun for humans and animals alike! You will be inspired by the ‘Gamegoer’ working dogs and falconry display, so bring your dog along and enter our fun Dog Show and terrier racing. Celebrity dogs will include the Dulux dog, and the Southern Newfoundland group will perform a water rescue display. Meet Reptiles ‘R’ Us and their snakes, frogs, lizards and tortoises. Ferret racing and pony rides. Starts 10.00am.

Sunday 26th May
CLASSIC CAR SHOW
A fantastic display of vintage, veteran and Classic vehicles, plus sport cars, American cars, motor cycles, replicas and military vehicles. Sally the Shunter land train. Special admission rate to the Parkand Classic Car Show.

Monday 3rd - Friday 7th June
HALF TERM FUN WEEK
Daily craft and fun activities 1.00pm - 4.00pm

HUMBLE PIE THEATRE WORKSHOP
… and puppet shows. Bring a picnic and enjoy - or participate in - shows from 12pm - 3pm.

Saturday 22nd & Sunday 23rd June
NEWFOUNDLAND SPECTACULAR
Members of the Newfoundland Club from across the country bring their superb dogs to participate in games, knock-out competitions, carting and a swimming gala. ‘Vet vibes’ and grooming advice from the Club’s vet. All other breeds of dog welcome on the day. Starts 10.30am.

LANDLOCKED! BOAT JUMBLE
Come and buy everything from a boat to bilge pump. Separate entrance fee in Rally Field.

Saturday 13th July
DRAGON BOAT RACING
Cheer the best team home as they race across the large lake! Charity event in aid of Guide Dogs for the Blind.

Sunday 14th July
PUPPY DOG PICNIC
Join us for a wonderful summer family picnic beside the large lake. Picnic provisions will be on sale. Doggy demonstrations from Guide Dogs for the Blind handlers, free dog care advice and dog chipping service at a special reduced rate. Plenty of fun activities for children, including puppet shows, circus skills workshops and the amazing colour maze.

Sunday 4th August
ANIMAL SUMMER FUN DAY
Everyone will love our visiting rare breeds display, with 20 different breeds of farm animal to meet and stroke. Bring your dog to our Fun Dog show and win a rosette for the waggiest tail!
Reptiles ‘R’ Us, the Dulux dog, terrier and ferret racing and pony rides to intrigue and entertain. Watch out for the roving clown and his balloons!
Heckfield Horticultural show will be held today in the Rally Field (separate admission charge)

HUMBLE PIE THEATRE WORKSHOP

Saturday 7th September
SHETLAND PONY SHOW
Ponies from all over the country attend our annual show in the Waterloo Meadow. Classes for affiliated and non- affiliated ponies are offered.

A stunning, professional display in the grounds of the park. Sideshows, entertainments, barbecues and refreshments. Organised by the Loddon Valley Lions with entrance fees donated to charity.

7th& 8th, 14th & 15th, 21st & 22nd December
ADVENT ACTIVITIES
A magical Christmas day out for the children. Father Christmas makes a special arrival by miniature railway and treats kids to his storytime and gifts. Christmas card making and Santa’s post box for last minute letters. All ages welcome.

Autumn Half Term (29th October- 2nd November)
A REALLY WILD WEEK
Bring your children and their friends daily from 12pm to get into the Hallowe'en spirit with spiders, snakes and other creepy crawlies! Not for the faint hearted! Seasonal activities with the Wellington wardens.
