The Wellington Country Park is easily reached from all parts of the country and for visitors from abroad it is a comfortable driving distance from the Channel ports. It is ideally situated in beautiful countryside with many gardens and stately homes to be explored. The Park is close to Stratfield Saye, home of the Duke of Wellington which is open to the public on certain days (click here for details). Historic cathedral cities like Winchester and Salisbury, Windsor and its famous Castle and Oxford with its magnificent University buildings and excellent shops are within easy reach. Families with children will welcome the opportunity to visit nearby LEGOLAND.

Site Facilities
The pitches are attractively situated on level ground in woodland glades within the 350 acres of the Wellington Country Park. 42 of these pitches have electric hook up. There is a toilet block with flush toilets, showers, hot and cold water, electric shaving points and hair dryers. An elsan disposal point and refuse disposal facilities are provided. Laundry room with washing, drying and ironing facilities. Laundry discs may be obtained from Reception if site warden is not in attendance. There is a small on site shop (limited stock and opening times). Groceries, Gaz and Calor Gas are all available in the local villages.

Boating
Visitors may bring their own boats which may only be used during opening hours. Boats may be hired at the boathouse in season. You are advised that personal insurance against injury, accident or loss while using the lake at Wellington Country Park is your own responsibility.
