An amazing array of local celebrity cheese awaits! Anne and Andy Wigmore’s Gold medal winners are made in Riseley with two brie-styles, Wigmore made from sheep’s milk and Waterloo from cow’s milk and the excellent hard sheep’s milk Spenwood. Two Hoot’s Barkham Blue, Isis and Oxford Blue from the Oxford Cheese Company and the Lyburn range produced in the New Forest create a temping display.
The Supreme Champion at this year’s British Cheese awards, the Tunworth, is produced nearby from a dairy that only opened 18 months ago. Cream and milk are delivered twice a week from the Lyde Green dairy herd in Rotherwick. English butter and flavoured yoghurts are displayed alongside. Jude’s unique Hampshire ice cream is sold in individual and family-sized tubs.
