We have a wide selection of English cheeses available on our counter. Most notably from our local and award winning cheesemaker ‘Village Maid Cheeses’. This small family business is operated by Anne and Andy Wigmore and they produce three delicious cheeses. The Spenwood, a hard sheep’s milk cheese - very like the spanish manchego cheese. The Wigmore, a soft and creamy washed rind sheep’s milk cheese and the Waterloo, a delicate and creamy cow’s milk soft cheese.

We also sell a range of cheddars, stiltons and flavoured individual cheeses. All our staff have a keen interest and understanding of the different products on sale, so please come and talk to them, taste the cheeses and build your own cheese board.
